CADFA PROJECT FEEDBACK FORM
Name   waad shqerat
Project  Common Ground Project
Project dates  15\8 – 30\8\2013
What feedback did you do? Where/ when/ to whom?
I talked about this experience with my family, friends in an informal way.
Also I went to East Sawahrah Secondary Girls School (my old school) were I arranged it with the English teacher there and it was on Wednesday
, 9\10\2013. And it was for the eleventh grade.
Why did you choose that sort of feedback?
First of all to tell them about my experience, and what we did there, also to tell them about the kind of work  that CADFA do, including Human Rights, and the activities that are happening at Dar assadaqa.
How did it go?
I had pictures and a video to show but because of special circumstances I couldn’t do that.
What went well?
They were really interested in what I had to say, and they wanted to be part of the activities that are happening at  Dar assadaqa, also they wanted to know if they can participate in one of these projects.
What did not go so well?
Just the fact that I couldn’t show them the pictures or the video.
Ideas for future work (this might include feedback from people who heard you – what did they suggest?)
One thing they kept asking me about  is why there school wasn’t involved with Dar assadaqa or the Twinning links.
Evidence attached: Please return us photos/ article/ other evidence of feedback – we will often use this on the project blog!

wa'ad

my name is wa'ad and i have been part of the common ground project as i have been voulnteering at dar assadaqa for several months, in this visit my role was to be , leader and that mean to take care of my groub which is the red groub in thise case but when i got here i hade to do more than that and i really enjoyed it , and i did alot of things for the first time like being a presnter in the concert, that the boys did which was a new experiance for me as it bulit my personality and made me believe that i can do anything , i just have to take the first step and to be brave , and it will make it , every things did from getting on plan to camping to singing to leading, a groub of kids was new me and if it was not for this project i wouldnt have discoverd new aspects of my personality, i have sean the amount of ffreedom that the people her they have and how they are living  anormal life just as human being enjoying ther land , their rights, when we first arrived i w=saw a couple of kids palying in the water and they look that the last thing they cared about in that moment was to not getting played withe there friends and thats make me sad beacuse my sister even i wouldnt have that . but im posihtve beacuse i have faithe in god that my kids will inshallah , i discovered i can sing will not solo but in agroup and i wouldnot have the guts to do it if i wasnt oplige to do it in every positive and encouraging was by the people that were withe us,from the begning to the end , im glad that i was part of thise project and that i was intreduced to thise organization and the people who are working in it , i wouldnt want thise project to be the last thing to do withe cadfa, because i belive in what they done i want to be part of it .

My trip was long to reach the camp project in Knighton where moved from Jerusalem to Amman to Rome and then to London before arriving at Knighton about the project was the life in the camp, a new experience, in Knighton on the grounds that we were living in the camp and wander in nature, then we moved to Wooster It was a good experience as being in a beautiful place and with good people helped us and we gathered around the fire, visit Oxford was very good and sweet, but there was no more time to see more of the city.
In North Hampton was very Karimon people and Astdhavona in Batohm musical evenings were very good and I learned a lot of them or specific exercises that helped them a good group of people.
I worked with the group to deliver an image of Palestinian folklore through dabke and playing on the tabla.
I very much enjoyed the project and the journey to the places that I visited was beautiful and the people I knew were good people.
Recognize the new country and new people was the best part of the project in the best part of the project was the sense of freedom and to practice the music and the experience was enjoyable journey as you expected.
I am satisfied with my performance on the project at all stages.
I would like to have a role in the relationship of friendship Camden Abu Dis and I would like to have my place in the training sessions of the drum, there will be needed more time to events and shopping a valuable future, either for the remainder was wonderful.
More time at the sites we visited, and there must be greater co-ordination for concerts and enough time for proper training.

at the end of thise journey, and after we finished thise "commom ground" project , i feel like i'm really lucky person and im so pleased becsuse i was able to  had such an amazing experience it helped me to make anew friends and meet really nice people and the most importnat is to be able to talk about palestine.
in this visit i tried to make and to leave good empression about palestine and the palestinan people and i tried my best, especially after the concerts to talk to the people and answer thier questions about the situwation in palestine , and make a clear image about our life and the difficulties we daily face in ouer normal day in palestine.
I really injoed thise project because it allowed me to visit new beautiful places ,met so amny people and they are supporter to the palestinan issues while i was thinking that sure theres someone care and support us, and boycott isrsel,it such a gret feeling , at the same time i felt really dissapointed , when we were introduced as a palestinan group and some saied "isreales" its really sad and its chocked me and anoy me in the same time.
thise prokect tought me alot such as working in group,"tesms" and how to accept different cullteres and how to deal withe kids, am really happy about what i have done in thise journey , i did my best even though i felt tired some points.
Iam absolutely want to do something else in connection withe cadfa ,im thinking seriously to apply to be a EVS volounteer hopefully.
and final notice: next time i suggest to not bring "friends kids" withe each others because they will be so annoying sometimes.
thanks

abdul- hakeem

this visit was good in general,we went to many places as it was planned,we visited knighton, abryswyth, worcester, oxford, northampton and london, in knightom which it has a twinning link withe my town azzoun, ibrahem and i made presentation about how life in azzoun and haw much we suffer from the settlers , in aberystwyth , we went to the sea and we have nice time there , and we made castles on the beach and that was amazing , that's some of what we did, but i can say in general that every place we ware promised to visit was visited, actually, thise project is really helpfull for the palestinan kids and for me as hakeem and i noticed during ouer visit, its help the kids to change the life that get used on it under the occupation , i was pleased and happy , the best thing for me is speaking to people and let them now about palestine and specially my town, in addition my english and also these things made me so pleased, i learnd how to deal and behave in foreing countries and thir culture the journey wasnt as i expected because nothing will be as we wish but it was amazing.
but i wasnt very happey because the time table was so ful and i didnt have enough time to do other things i wanted to do.
i dont want to do any thing withe camden abo dis link because its big responsibility and i dont like to take the big responsibility of things , i think what nandita and abed do is fine and maneged very well so i dont thing i have any suggestion'

CADFA PROJECT FEEDBACK FORM
Name :dana atef arja
Project : kids visit ‘’ common ground’’ summer 2013
Project dates : 15/08/2013 – 30/08/2013

What feedback did you do? Where/ when/ to whom?
I’ve made a presentation and a small discussion in ( Feminist Association)
to group of working women.
that was in 25/10/2013

Why did you choose that sort of feedback? Because (women) are one of the target groups by CADFA .. and because there is a (women visit) which done yearly by CADFA.
How did it go?  It went really well and all women were very interested and asked for CADFA website to get to know more about it and its aims and projects .
What went well?
The whole discussion / everything.
What did not go so well?
Nothing J
Ideas for future work (this might include feedback from people who heard you – what did they suggest?)
The women suggested that there are too many feminist association make products CADFA may be interested in .. and for the future visits CADFA could sell some of these products in UK as CADFA used to do with zaatar .. olive oil ... etc

Evidence attached: Please return us photos/ article/ other evidence of feedback – we will often use this on the project blog!

Waad`s feedback
